In the 1960 U.S. Open at Cherry Hills, Arnold Palmer threw his red visor to the crowd after firing a final round 65 to mount an epic comeback. That red visor was collected by then 11-year-old Skip Manning, and Palmer signed it after emerging from the scoring arena. 48 years later, Manning donated it to the USGA Golf Museum during a brief ceremony in Latrobe wtih Palmer in attendance. |
