Bobby Jones’s Dream: A ‘Masters’ Plan

Oct 28, 2024 | Edition #49

👋 Hey Golf Fans,

Sunday was quite a thrill! But do you know who the biggest winner is this week? You’d think it’s Nico Echavarria, who held off Justin Thomas and Max Greyserman by the skin of his teeth at the Zozo Championship. Or Byeong Hun An who battled Tom Kim in front of a home crowd at the Genesis Championship. A brutal lip out in the playoffs sunk Kim’s hope. There’s also Ruoning Yin, who netted her second LPGA title of the month.

But it’s none of the three.

Rather, it’s a 52-year-old club pro from Long Island. The veteran bagged a T3 at the Champions Tour’s second playoff. His prize? A senior tour card for the 2025 season. It’s not every day that you stumble on a story like this. Now that we did, let’s not leave it unexplored!

So, let’s get started…
