In 2019, Phil Mickelson almost missed his 11:52 am tee time for the BMW Championship because of a lightning strike and a fire at the hotel he was staying at. Mickelson was in his room when lightning struck and blew out a chimney. Firefighters helped him get his clubs, and he arrived on the course at 11:15 am in flip-flops.

On day one at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, Louis Oosthuizen’s ball on the 10th landed between trees. Confident in his skills, Oosthuizen hit this beauty to save par.
