Bryson DeChambeau’s US Open Victory Is Incomplete

👋 Dear Golf fans,
The U.S. Open started without one of its former champions. Jon Rahm’s foot infection left LIV one short of its bigwigs, as we explored in our previous edition. But boy, oh boy, did Bryson DeChambeau rise to the occasion. It was fast times at Pinehurst No. 2. The carnage wasn’t as gory as at Lancaster Country Club last week, yes. But the 2024 U.S. Open still left many scratching their heads. None more than a clean-shaved Scottie Scheffler.
He dropped everything (even an F-bomb) but the ball. But outside of the World No. 1’s tantrums and outside the U.S. Open, a lot has happened and will happen, too. For starters, John Daly will eagerly watch the Korn Ferry Tour next week. He might even turn up in Norman, Oakland, by Thursday. Why? We’ll get to that soon enough.
On the other hand, the LPGA icons will travel to Washington for the third major. But one of them will be a little more worried than the rest! So, sit back and relax as we unpack the juiciest scoops for you this week.
