Not the one to back away from voicing unpopular opinions, the veteran analyst made a bold claim regarding THE PLAYERS and all four men’s majors. But that, inevitably, has irked everyone.

The stadium surrounding the 16th hole is built every year from scratch and dismantled once the tournament is over. This year, levels two and three have been built using a fully modular decking system encased in metal frames to reduce construction-related waste. About 20% of those items will be reused at other events, further aligning the event with its zero-waste tournament goal.
