On December 2, 1982, American track athlete Steve Scott set a record for playing the fastest round of golf on a regulation course. He posted a 95, played only two clubs, and ran between holes to complete 18 holes in 29 minutes, 33 seconds at Miller Golf Club. Five years later, in June 1987, James Carvill broke that record by playing in 27 minutes, 9 seconds at Warrenpoint Golf course. |
