On December 17, 2014, 103-year-old PGA Member Gus Andreone became the oldest person to record a hole-in-one. Andreone aced the 14th at Palm Aire Country Club with a driver on a 113-yard shot, surpassing Elsie McLean's 2007 record at age 102. This marked his 8th career ace, 75 years after his first in 1939. Andreone passed away in 2018 at age 107. |
