 👋 Hey Golf Fans,

Mid-round, Brooks Koepka witnessed a golf cart accident involving a little girl. He rushed in to help her. Koepka explained what really happened and how he felt. Meanwhile, a pro called a penalty on himself, a hot-mic caught an interesting conversation between Spieth and his caddie, and Bryson made an emotional vow. All about that, plus our regular Masters series, Sunday tee times, and more in today’s edition.

Onward…

The five-time major champion sounded shaken to his core while talking about the incident after his round.

As part of our Masters week countdown, we are looking at all 18 holes of Augusta National. With 15 days to go before the first major, today our focus is on Firethorn, the famous 15th hole.

Firethorn, named for a berry-producing tree native to Europe, is the second-easiest hole at Augusta, averaging 4.77 strokes across Masters history. Sergio Garcia holds the worst score with an 8-over-par 13 (octuple bogey) in 2018. The best is a rare 3-under-par 2 (double eagle), achieved only once—at the 1935 Masters, Gene Sarazen holed out his approach on the 15th (the “Shot Heard ‘Round the World”).

Momoka Kobori almost made a hole-in-one on the par-3 13th on Sunday at the Australian WPGA Championship.

You can watch the final round from 1-3 PM (ET) on Golf Channel and 3-6 PM (ET) on NBC. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will start streaming early round coverage at 7:30 AM (ET).
