Pebble Beach has “cameoed” in several movies over the decades. It doubled as the English coastline in the 1945 film National Velvet and later appeared in the 1951 biopic Follow the Sun. Twentieth Century-Fox eventually bought the Pebble Beach Corporation in 1978.
