Hey Golf Fans,

The Cognizant Classic kicks off the Florida swing of the PGA Tour, but early signs don’t paint the brightest picture for its future. We cover that, TGL’s surprising hire, and more in today’s edition.
Let’s get started…

Six pros, including a Masters champion, have confirmed their exits just days ahead of the event.

Zach Johnson holds the Claret Jug aloft after winning the 144th Open Championship
Iowa City native Zach Johnson was born on this day in 1976 and built a career on grit and precision.
