Tony Jacklin, the two-time major champ, was born on July 07, 1944. Son of a lorry driver, Jacklin turned pro in 1962 and made the first televised hole-in-one at the 1967 Dunlop Masters. He went on to win the tournament. His first of two major titles came two years later at The Open, and Tony was eventually inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2002.
