On February 22, 1963, Vijay Singh, aka The Big Fijian, was born in Lautoka, Fiji. Singh turned pro in 1982, winning his first DP World Tour title in 1989. He debuted on the PGA Tour in 1993, beating Mark Wiebe for his first win at the Buick Classic. Singh claimed his first major at the 1998 PGA Championship, added the 2000 Masters, and won another PGA Championship in 2004. In his pro career, he has won 66 times, totaling 34 PGA Tour wins and 5 on the PGA Tour Champions.
