Something was clearly bothering Jordan Spieth for the past year. The three-time major champion rarely spoke about it, but now he clapped back at criticism that he feels was never justified. On this day in 1979, six-time PGA Tour winner Jimmy Walker was born. The veteran golfer was winless for nine years and 188 starts before breaking through at the Frys.com Open in 2013. He went on to add two more titles to his name within a few weeks after that. Three years later, Walker bested Jason Day to win the 2016 PGA Championship. Besides being a golfer, Walker is also a chef and an avid astrophotographer. |
