On December 21, 1892, “the father of professional golf,” Walter Hagen, was born. Part of a traditional working-class family, Hagen turned pro in 1912 at age 19, winning his first major two years later at the U.S. Open. In his professional career, he won 44 PGA Tour titles, including 11 major titles. Beyond that, Hagen gained fame for his suave dressing style and as the first millionaire athlete. Hagen passed away in 1969, aged 76. |

On the par-5 15th at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, Alex Levy’s third shot landed on the greens. Levy ran after what was an almost stunning shot, marred only by this brutal lip out.
