On September 30, 2018, Francesco Molinari made history at Le Golf National. The Italian pro became the first European to go 5-0-0 in a Ryder Cup. Teaming up with Tommy Fleetwood, the duo swept all four of their doubles matches – becoming the first European pair to do so. In Sunday singles, Molinari claimed his fifth point of the week by defeating Phil Mickelson 4&2.
